I've never encountered a more powerful writing jammer than an app trying to finish my sentences for me.

No, statsbot, your guess is wrong. Even when you're on the right track, your writing is shit so still no. But thanks for scrambling my train of thought.

My takeaway from what you’re saying is: develop relationships with one’s neighbours and community members.

My sensibilities growing up in an east coast city react with: “gross”.

But I’m on the west coast now and folks here are preternaturally friendly, so I can appreciate the value.

There are plenty of young people I know who want to. But they would benefit from mentoring since it can be a Byzantine and/or expensive undertaking.

Would you be interested in sharing your insight?

I’ve seen workshops by the DNC on running for office but I have my doubts about their credibility.

That's been my experience with every dose. I choose to interpret that as your immune system being REALLY INTO WRECKING COVID.

Naturally.

Fingers crossed it gains publicity when someone on tiktok creates the "bear pod challenge" on tiktok.

And if you're thinking: "that's going to generate a lot of lawsuits" don't worry: the bears are independent contractors.

How about light rail? Trains can already be automated so bears would be purely for the "disruptive innovation" aesthetic. Rail is better transportation than increasing the number of cars and roaming bears are safer than cops.

Sorry if my question was an unintentional trap. I appreciate your thoughtful answer, though. I find other creatives'—particularly writers—processes interesting.

If you don't mind a follow-up: are either of your potential novels' characters more compelling right now?

This is the thin-skinned flailing of a man who's never not been protected from criticism.

Makes me wonder what would happen if someone turned over a rock at Pershing Square Capital or Foundation.

He's a billionaire. Of course there is.

It's too much for many to contemplate. Psych safety valve is to avoid.

So you start by talking about what people are ready to. One strategy that might work is to address it obliquely. e.g. discuss risk/disaster planning. FEMA has guides. Then it's a smaller step to discuss fascism contingency.

Going after the rest of the MIT faculty is just a continuation of his bad-faith, anti-free speech, anti-academia campaign. I doubt this billionaire or his wife have any loyalty to lowly academics.

I'm no university fundraiser but I wouldn't want my budget held hostage by this fucker's moodswings.

He was trying to oust the MIT president concurrently to his campaign against Harvard's and UPenn's.
"'Let's make a deal. If you promptly terminate President Kornbluth, I promise I won't write you a letter," Ackman wrote in a separate X post that was addressed to MIT's governing boards."
With UPenn's president out, Bill Ackman is now lasering in on Harvard and MIT's presidents
"Knowing what we know now, would Harvard consider Claudine Gay for the position? The answer is definitively 'No,'" Bill Ackman said in an X post.

As someone who reviews for journals, I appreciate his dedication to pro bono peer review. Has he considered doing it earlier in the publishing process?

Why? What do you accomplish by writing fanfiction to plug the logic-holes in racist mythology?
