Besides the fact that I never have to attend a meeting, where we agree on our eslint/prettier config. I can with such ease slide almost any Go library, because they're all structured the same way

Guess the work being done in each loop has a significant impact on the benchmark. Would be super cool to see the same graph, but with real work and not just a "simple sum".

Wild that js, an interpreted language, run using Bun does this faster than Go, a compiled one.
Hats off to the @bun.sh team for making js run this fast.

True. When you finally do get used to it, you get annoyed that you cannot do the same in other languages. There is no winning with that thing.

It could also make sense, due to the versatility of JS. Where Go is more of a "one way of doing things" kind of language. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, that is also all people tell me to use for something “serious”. Still not sure I could argue for it, other than familiarity 🤷‍♂️
