I am not one of those people, but WTF is a government employee wearing on official duty, and on TV? Is this a complete joke?

I am shocked that in this country, with so many carrying, there hasn't been a death or significant injury resulting from a raid.

They seem to be in Trump's ear though. The suppression of US support for Ukraine is worth much more than Shahed drones.

They are toast. Absolutely no Ford-type pardons to help the country move on.

Oh, perhaps it hasn't been formally announced yet, but when visiting Rome for the funeral, Trump heard about Pope Gregory's calendar, and he felt ripped off, so he is changing our calendar to the Trumpian Calender. He thought Pearl Harbor would work better in June.

She is truly pathetic.

I prefer we have no "archy" of any kind.
April 26, 2025 at 12:10 AM
keep it up, because even a certain amount of crazies on the right will peel off from Trump for this.
April 25, 2025 at 11:51 PM
I agree. Most of us are in the middle. It makes no sense for progressives to swing for the fences when it so crucial to maximize MAGA losses. We just need to have each election have the best non-MAGA candidate possible, even centrists not liked by everyone under the big tent.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but Grant was a popular moderate war hero, much like Eisenhower. Kelly is a popular moderate, decorated Navy fighter pilot and astronaut, who's wife was almost assassinated. He doesn't have the fake charisma of others, but he has substance and would be a great leader.

He knows they will get bailed out. This is just designed to help ensure that happens.
April 19, 2025 at 2:39 AM
This last part is the most accurate of all. If progressives don't leave room in a big tent, and let the party focus on the candidates that will win their respective races regardless of where they fit in the party, progressives will doom us all. This isn't the time for an October Revolution. Just win

You assume many of them went to school.

He can sell used cars instead.

As things get much worse, I think you will finally get the required number. But it will be too late.
April 18, 2025 at 2:09 PM
I would love to be a fly on the wall on their plane ride home. They will surely be laughing at Trump's expense.
April 18, 2025 at 1:58 PM
Once the real pain of the tariffs hit, that will be 70% favoring the Democrats at a minimum.
April 17, 2025 at 1:03 AM
Ha, that is not even close to being correct. When faced with the fall of the Republic, where you fall on the various ideological spectra mean little. Do you think that centrists in Ukraine aren't fighting back?
April 16, 2025 at 11:56 PM
Mark Kelly could work.
April 16, 2025 at 11:51 PM
Us pugnacious centrists are out there! We are hoping to have a place under the big tent the Dems can construct. We will need it. We don't need an October Revolution. We just need to defeat MAGA and bring back our Republic.
April 16, 2025 at 5:32 PM
Just like Russia is not distinct and separate from Putin. When Trump is gone, the Republicans will clutch to MAGA for as long as they can. Similarly, when Putin is gone, Russia will still be the Russia it has been for centuries. Both are bigger than one man.

I know some that joined the DOJ after the election riding on Trump's coat-tails. They have not yet resigned, so I will no longer deal with them personally or professionally.
April 16, 2025 at 2:45 AM
Me too. I even wrote him in instead of Bush in 2000.
April 16, 2025 at 2:40 AM
He would have indeed.
