Besides the awful NPC chatter, I'm fascinated by how this game looks. I'm not a graphics expert, but this feels "vertex lit" ? Shadows and materials are super inconsistent, yet clearly "art-directed"
Watching it, it seems like it could run on a Gamecube that got an imaginary RAM expansion pack.

I hadn't heard of this show! As a watcher of the Austrian original (it was on regularly on primetime), I had to add the fun fact that something similar also happened on the original.
They killed off Rex' original "owner" and replaced him with a new actor. Also Rex was played by 2 different dogs.
