Halloween in Javelina Crossing - (Drama, mild Horror, R) When a group of cosplayers perform a seance on Halloween, they conjure the spirit of a 1880s prostitute who reveals the unknown critical impact of one of technology's current electronic gizmos. 12 Pg. #scriptsky

Pumpkins appeared in the grocery store the other day. At the hardware store, spooky yard creatures are all over the place. Anyone want to work with funding a short horror film while in the Halloweenie vibe that is a look at the energy ripping through the airwaves when using a QR code?

One of the things I heard when pitching my script AN UNDOCUMENTED RUMOR, was that no administration would be stupid enough to put together a scam operation to justify a political cause... well, guess what? My script is probably not stupid enough for current times.

Soon summer and Shark Week will be upon us. That in mind, today I did a nip and tuck on my marine biologist investigating strange shark behavior in Hawaiian waters screenplay.

Anyone want to get in the swim and make a deal on a grounded (if that applies to the ocean) tale about sharks in paradise?

A crowd gathered in the cemetery... on a full moon... to watch THE THREE AMIGOS. Truly and totally Tucson way to spend a Saturday evening!

It’s time. My feature script NEON CACTUS needs to be produced. With the severe cuts to the Veteran’s Administration chopping away at services available, including PTS support, this script needs to come to light. Is the world ready for a story about healing wartime PTS in the Arizona desert?

Great screening of VINTAGE JOURNEY at the Arizona Independent Film Festival last night! AIFF is the longest running film festival in Arizona and they know how to treat a filmmaker right!

Not only are aloe vera plants good for burns, viewing them provides relief from the batshit crazy world out there. Makes me wonder what it's like to be a bee.

Here's the toughest script doctor I ever went up against!

PS... snowed a foot last night. Even the after party was cancelled. Hope we can get out of the motel's parking lot!

Astral projecting as a means of affirmation! Time to synch up with the Oscars and state some intentions for the future!

Just another day in Arizona when one of these cuties looks in your window. That's surveillance we don't mind!

Since today is what it is, need something good on the immediate horizon.

Saturday I will direct a short film for competition in That Film Festival on 18 February, all because of our short film, UNBRIDLED. Setting intentions forward for all good filmmaking things. That's the arc! More to come!

Now, more than ever before...

When a journalist for an US-based Arabian TV network heads to the Arizona border to sleuth out a rumor of a terrorist attack formulating in Mexico, she enlists an unlikely team to take on the forces behind the operation. 98 Pg.

Based on political talking points.

Brilliantly acted. Years ago a guy in LA told me was the best script ever. I read it, then bought the movie. This is a watch on a regular basis film. Beautiful, impactful closing sequence.

We have no attics in Arizona and we need to simulate one for a short film. @desertscribe.bsky.social has been busy working to create the look of a storage shed on a ranch. Who knew we had so many cool things!?

Feliz Ano Nuevo from Tucson! This is a pic taken of a New Year's sunrise... a few years back. Figured I'd post today to spare bleary eyes tomorrow and also I've not mastered time dilation.

Here's to a healthy, safe and productive year ahead for all! May sanity prevail!

It is said that if we mine the asteroid Psyche, she's worth more than the global economy. Plans are underway. What could go wrong (Elon)? I have a script written with Nina Conti in mind that addresses just that. Would to find a production home for this 55-page project as a warning.

With all the talk about Musk and Mars (and what could go wrong), Geoff Marslett's film is delightful!

Sorry, Santa. Got triggered into feral mode. I'm used to hissing at people wearing red hats.

Goal for 2025: Find a viable production home for NEON CACTUS, an award-winning script that addresses healing wartime PTS through alternative means... like talking with a saguaro cactus in the blazing Arizona desert. It's a read to believe script. This is my passion project!
