I was just told from NJDDD that my 44yo sister w/ Rett's Syndrome can't go to LTC after hospital discharge because of lack of funds. She just had a partial foot amputation and PEG tube put in. They expect her to be cared for at home by my 78yo parents of poor health or pay LTC themselves
