I enjoyed that Caolán. I try and keep up to date with all the provinces, but this will definitely help going forward. Nice unbiased take!

Oh feck! 😬

I remember him fondly, but you’d be hoping MA will bring a level of experience and size that maybe Blurer couldn’t. As you’ve noticed, I’m very hopeful! 😂

It’s not perfect, but it is positive. I would have preferred to sign a top quality niq tighthead straight away but apparently that player is coming for next season too. So again, positive. If we can get Salanoa back, that could be the real game changer this season.

I understand your frustration, but if you consider we have been given dispensation by IRFU to sign a front row player. This is very much a stop gap, I like it because he knows the league and competition. He is a scrummager and brings a wealth of experience. Will bring on Ronan Foxe!

Worried about Salanoa, his fitness is a worry! He can’t seem to back up matches, he’s in Dublin working with the IRFU fitness team hoping they can get him back and build up his robustness!

He signed for Gloucester, he’ll be playing again in Limerick soon enough!

Yeah, credit where credit is due. Context might be important, Australia were poor. Our pack were on top, loads of gainline and JGP had a very impressive game too. Allows Sam to pick his moments to get involved and he did very well.

I don’t disagree with your point, but surely Farrell has to pour cold water on all the nonsense. If he just said we had planned for Sam to start the Australia game and leave it as that. He deserves a shot from what 20mins against a tiring Japan? When the Japanese brought semi pro’s off the bench?

Ireland A’s lineout looked pretty cohesive, context of opposition is important I suppose too!

Facts don’t matter, Tim. He would say anything to take the heat off his performance as head coach.
November 3, 2025 at 7:59 AM
Oh yeah, he will find form. But just at the minute, he looks like he is out of form, rudderless might be too harsh but that’s what I thought last night. When Butler came on we started to look a little more fluid against a tough Connaught defence.
October 26, 2025 at 12:55 PM
I agree with everything here, think we should Butler more minutes until JJ can find some form. Been disappointing the last few times Ive seen him.
October 26, 2025 at 10:55 AM
Ah yeah, fair enough. Would you rate the 42? TRK is the only pod I would rate, clearly a Munster podcast but can back everything up with facts and stats.

To be fair, Luke Fitzgerald is the only one on IRM that has really criticised Sam Prendergast’s overall game of late. Will Slattery and Cian Treacy I thought pushed back on LF view point. Arguably best of a bad lot.

It’s a very strong team Caolán, despite international call ups and a few injuries. Hope they go well. Did Jake O’R play in the A-game last weekend?

You were on the television, mate. Didn’t know you were such a celebrity! 😂

I don’t even know what a Cabul is, I thought it was capital of Afghanistan.
September 18, 2025 at 9:27 AM
A Cabul apparently.

Think he’s trying to sell a book. Loads of quotes attributed to him this week.

David, please!

Excellent pun 😂

100% agreed. It looked really weird live, he was absolutely aiming for the ankle when he landed.
