In this paper with Philip Warncke we show that even having infinite data will not solve the problem. Indeed, two researchers with massive amount of data will still end up with different results.

Many people seem to think that this is just a problem of sample, and that by having more and more data, this problem will become smaller and smaller until finally disappearing.

This means that the result of the measurement depends not only on what we want to measure (e.g. happiness), but also on the procedure we used for the measurement.
