Absolutely double standards. The Tories never had this. The Mail is simply a very blunt assassination tool. Public interest and honesty is irrelevant.

You can't spend years lambasting schools/teachers in both media and Gov't, and not expect it to have an effect.
They type of person now voting Reform* (*simple solutions to complex problems for simple people) inevitably picks up on this and fails to value/engage with education. And here we are...
