Just as an experiment, how do the panels look when they're together on a single page? Easier to read that way on BSky ... or not?

One time Red Skull offered Spider-Man $1 million in cash to join his evil scheme and Spidey thought about it for a not insignificant series of panels before reaching this conclusion. Classic art by Todd McFarlane

Every kids’ section of every library should have a big stack of sheets and a box of crayons

One way we got here with LCS was that by (bad) luck and coincidence, it happened to have been the edgy concept du jour at the time of Rumsfeld and "Transformation" 👇 but few understood it, the Navy gooned up its execution and became too DC important (for a few reasons) to kill

If we Followers of Strobist have learned anything from your tutelage it is that light is the difference-maker: this was the exact same station last week.

As an office drone millennial of course I love that the B-21 is Middle Class Gray, not unlike my sensible Toyota compact or the kid crayon marks-resistant paint in my living room. Hides dirt. Resists scuffs. Not flashy but that not what we here for -- the gray that gets the job done

The USAF or Northrop photographer did a great job with this. By exposing for the highlights on the aircraft in the shelter, this snapper rendered the apron in the foreground deep dark and also brought up the sunset colors. Hot aeroplane 🤝 hot pic.

Could not interest a group of kids today in the Smithsonian Natural History Museum's exhibit about The Time Before Cellphones, but no oldster escaped being affected somehow by the old world of analog things, from Game Boys to Walkmen to maps to books and so on, that now literally are museum pieces

We make bookmarks, stickers and similar as fun projects and sometimes I iterate some versions that don't make the cut for the kids

The whole Roman Empire thing is indeed baffling. When I get a free moment -- not often these days; you know how it goes -- I prefer the much more mainstream enjoyment that comes from going to the shelf for a book about bomber design, or surface warfare combat systems

Here's how the Spacies' new 75th ISR Squadron describes its mission set 👇-- essential, meat and potatoes enabling work for a military service: identify where the bad guy is, in what strength, and so on, to facilitate the collective effort to make him go away if ordered.

But this might be in space!

Everyone is treating this as a joke. It's not a joke. This is the most dangerous era of our lives. The mindset this represents is one of two terrible things: either 1. ignorant of reality and also unreachable or 2. it supports what's taken place and wants moar. There's no reasoning with that

My daughter, 7, made this portrait of me on the back of another sheet of paper, as kids will. Not only do I adore it for all the obvious reasons, what's great is she captured someone smiling and happy, suggesting that's how she sees her dad seeing her. I'd never have made myself smiling

Foggy Bottom escalator on the way in this morning. The light IRL was oranger than this because of the wildfire haze but XT-5 in standard Provia mode has rendered it whiter and cleaner
