I said 'Eric, have I never asked you to play? Come on, I've got a song right up your street.' And I actually did. When I wrote 'I Wish It Would Rain Down' it was as close as I got to the blues, I felt. I just knew that he'd wail away on it and he came down here and did. It was great.
