I might be starting a podcast with my wife focused on her profession, dog behavior. It’s going to be a husband and wife vibe where I ask her questions being an apprentice and she’s the expert. What should we call it?

Just finished Joker: Folie a Deux. It wasn’t as bad as everyone said. I thought it was a big swing and was really interesting and gripping at times. Joaquin Phoenix is top notch. :lady gaga noises:

It really bugs me that everyone in Harry Potter just skipped right over the fact that Harry clearly owns one of the Deathly Hallows, the invisibility cloak. TBF I didn’t read the books but still, give it a line or two you know?

My wife’s car broke down this evening. I asked ChatGPT probably 20 questions about potential causes based on a photo of the dash. I felt very confident driving over ready to jump it in the right sequence. An ice cold spindrift was all it took. Battery corrosion. I’m a man and I fix things.

I finished this today. I haven’t read it in like 10 years. Enjoyed it probably more this time around. I was amazed at how many themes Card balanced and had running all at once. This book always stuck with me & helped me understand empathy better. The entire second half was gripping!

Dealt with frozen pipes most of my morning today because I left the garage opened last night. Low of 13 here in IN. No running water in our house for a bit. Literally ran a blow dryer on some pipes under our stairs to fix it. Raised the heat, opened bathroom cabinets. I’m a man and I fix things. 🤦♂️

I’m reading Atomic Habits. I’ve struggled with motivation and just accomplishing the things I want to accomplish. Half way through and my favorite take away is “systems > goals”. Design your systems for the day to day and the end goals will come.

My wife and I do orange theory. 💪 I have this habit of coming home afterwards all energetic and cooking everything in my fridge. I just want to sit down right now but the homemade pasta sauce, turkey meatballs, chicken thighs, green beans and pasta won’t cook themselves.
