Happy birthday to my dad. Born the last of 13 children on this day in Thornton Heath, London 1934. A man who has carried throughout his life absolute integrity in all he has done for 90 years. An extremely wise man and a remarkable role model.

If you get the chance, next time you're in London try & see this painting in the flesh. It's amazing & in the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square (which is free). It's very affecting in a way I've yet to feel in any reproduction or prints I've seen of it
