Disappointed that there was no mention on the pod of the women having the opportunity of becoming the first world champions in women's club football this weekend. And in their own stadium. How often do you get to see your team play a cup final in their own stadium?

How do you think the social media age would have reacted to these very real results from the Invincibles season? #Arsecastextra

Surely loans are different. It's not like we've signed her from Portland and now want to loan her out.

Are you talking about the rule about only playing for two teams in a season. There's a loophole when one of the teams play in a summer league and the other two teams play in a winter/spring league. In that case they can be registered for up to 3 clubs.

Buy a 6 for the women's team?

Kim Kallstrom's proudest moment.

I'd like you to explain the "no sixes" policy. I can see that you would want a "6" who's good at ball progression (a Zubimendi type, if you will) but it seems that just signing a bunch of 8s and 10s and expecting them to be defensively sound is a good way to constantly repeat the Bayern game.

At least it's for world cup qualifying this time, rather than just nations league.

I think it was the draws not the shirts.
- Picked a shit team v Forest lost.
- Beat Oxford, lost to City in round 4 in red and white
- Lost to Liverpool in the midst of a terrible run of form
- Lost on penalties to United in the midst of an injury crisis

Probably the same person who decided our 3rd kit should be white (only kit we've lost in this season)

Yeh it's 7.

4-0 win over Bournemouth, actually.

Gotham released a roster update in June. It's not hard to extrapolate from that how many players are signed for 2026. It's 18.

Oh I got that. Was more confused about the OPs "List of shame". Gotham did a roster update in June and it's not hard to extrapolate from that how many players they currently have signed to 2026.

What does this mean?

Surely replacing it with some sort of ffp-like system would make sense. I see wanting them to be run sustainably but if a team brings in a big transfer fee should they not be able to distribute that as better wages for their current players rather than just transfer fees to bring in further players?

I'm sure you said something about it, maybe on a podcast around the time Jonas did an interview bemoaning the lack of one.
November 16, 2025 at 10:15 PM
I'd rather we ban Chelsea from playing. That would make the world a better place.

What happened to the director of football for the women's team that was going to be hired once Berta was sorted. It's been more than 6 months.

OK, but we now have a TV deal and I'm sure they didn't use to play so many games at times that suit European markets as well.
November 14, 2025 at 7:19 PM
OK, yeh that is dumb to be playing it then.
