New SkySat imagery from Planet Labs over northern Gaza from Dec 5 shows extensive damage to the Beit Lahia Cemetery after the IDF cleared two paths through the middle of it.

🧵 I have a cemetery destruction thread on Twitter that I'll re-post to Bluesky for tracking purposes.

Ok, so you’re one of those deliberately obtuse people who laughs as Israel killed entire families with bombs.

I don't know you well enough to judge, but either you're so swayed by empty rhetoric that you can't see Hamas isn't responsible for Israel's war conduct, or you do understand this but are choosing to be deliberately obtuse to avoid having to grapple with the fact Israel’s no better.

I’ve achieved two of four. So not the worst outcome. Will probably achieve three.
Here's my new years resolutions
- Interview Dovid Katz on the Holocaust in Baltic states and on the issue of Holocaust Obfuscation.
- Return to writing articles on Substack.
- Consider other content avenues. Podcast or maybe a return to videos.
- Publish more translations.

The idea of “Value-free history” to me at this point seems to be a farce. One only needs to look at the history wars in Ireland. From the 1930s to 1970s historians pushing for “Value-free history” often chose to whitewash the British role in Ireland’s an Gorta Mór.

Coogan consistently embarrasses himself. He remains unable to explain how a government that expended 10 million pounds (equivalent to 50 million USD today) and nourished 3.5 million individuals daily at the height of the famine could possess genocidal intent.

The more I learn about Napoleon the more his popular portrayals make me irritated. Like I started nibbling at the topic because of Ribbes shotty work claiming he was a blueprint for Hitler. But Napoleon was actually a monster whose crafted the modern popular conception of himself.
