I try to minimize my interactions with toxic people, and that includes toxic news. My mentor told me: “There’s only two things in life you can control. What you say and what you do.” That doesn’t mean I don’t take action when it’s called for. I prefer to be of service to the people I can help.

A friend was upset because they tore down part of the White House. I said to look at it this way: The White House was built by slaves. When it was burned down it was rebuilt by slaves. Really puts the “white” in White House.

If you keep a masterbation log with your son.. Sorry I meant “accountability” log, there’s something wrong with you. “Creepy” is an understatement.

Yeah. I think they didn’t get the memo from Jesus.

I don’t need to lose weight and I don’t like planks either. I have to make dietary changes for other reasons, (blood sugar.)

It’s funny how many things people have told me “I have to try.” I don’t want to be rude so I don’t say what I’m thinking, which is: “No. I don’t have to try anything.”

Wow! You were close enough to bite him.

Exactly. You identify a need that you can help fulfill. When I was a kid our mom had us picketing for the farm workers. Later I became an AIDS activist and medical cannabis advocate. Now my partner and I support causes. One of our favorites is Humane Society Silicone Valley.

I’m glad my partner said yes 27 years ago. It saves me the frustration of asking a bunch of heterosexual men to marry me.

I think the concern is that we’re not having enough white children, because we’re obviously the only group that matters. I can only imagine how these people react when they see an interracial couple. She looks okay but we better call the cops on him.

I don’t have children but I have nieces and nephews, and a grand-nephew. Also, do I need to have children to care about future generations? I’m not slamming you. I’m not optimistic. I have my go-to place also. It’s in Mexico. And what if I believe in reincarnation?

Wash that down with some Vodka.

Where do I start? Redistricting, manipulating the vote. Voter Suppression, making people believe their vote doesn’t count. Citizens United, one of the worst SC decisions. Removing Civics from the curriculum, making the next generation more ignorant. Media Bias, f-ing with your head. I could go on.

AI is driving up power bills. We need to stop this madness.

I didn’t think that movie would creep me out as much as it did. Kathy Bates was incredible as a complete psychopath.

Personally I don’t want to listen to them. “If you stare into the abyss long enough the abyss stares back.”

It’s so hard to find entertainment that is not only good but uplifting. When I do find something I treasure it, stuff like “Sandman” on Netflix. We canceled our Disney subscription because of the whole Kimmel thing. Don’t miss it. My challenge is to read more. I have a stack of books.
