The US administration has gone on the attack against Irish corporate tax policy (12.5%). I find it amusing that the administration likes to impose high taxes on US businesses (income and tariff)… the Democrats have an opportunity to become a “pro-business, pro-people, progressive” party…

For you English grammar nerds out there, you know "free rein" is often misspelled as "free reign"....but I think either spelling works for the current degree of legislative oversight of the current US administration.

Enjoyed Nr. 24, and a timely reminder that the peace the west has enjoyed since 1945 came at a great price. A nice juxtaposition of the story of the most decorated member of the Norwegian Resistance and young students who don’t understand why that resistance had to resort to violence.
