I agree need much higher taxes on the rich. But doubt that'll make a huge difference on its own - don't get too stuck on that.

Those unaffected (not mega rich) need to hear more about how our lives could be better as the wealth gap is closed - so it is seen as good & isn't dismissed as envy.

Russian infiltration is defo an important thing, but not as vital as the lack of effort to strip back the growing divide between the mega rich and the rest. That's what divides us and makes fertile ground for NF, and for Russia to exploit the situation to destabilise countries.

Tbh - I don't care too much what people say when they are teens. But he's pushed racist lies for decades. In his case - it sure looks like he made some gross remarks then and nothing has changed other than his a bit more careful now.

It's obviously right to crit him for having racist views and leading a racist party - but only boosts his support - racists like him. And, Labour are supporting his vile views rather than pushing back hard.

Also - yep - a lot of Tories got even richer as an outcome of the disgusting mismanagement. These are the people who voted Johnson in, and the people who pressed for Brexit, and the people who are now blaming the mess on immigration.. and Labour are now trying to court their votes with racist crap.

It actually says that if they'd been properly prepared and reacted quickly, the lockdowns might not have been necessary at all. But, they left it so late, they had no choice to go for such a terrible option, but still didn't act in time and 23k additional people may have died.

Bluesky must sort out a better system - I don't see why people should have to look at porn if they want to see art photos - porn is fine, but I don't want to see it constantly.

Yep - what labels explicit sexual content is absurd. I wish @moderation.bsky.app would sort it out because I want to be able label my posts so people can choose to see, or not, see them. Tbh, I'd mostly choose not to see actual explicit sexist content, but if I don't allow it, I don't see art nudes.
