My biggest grievance with the Polin coming before the Benophie in the show is that we didn’t get that one scene in the book where Colin asks Daphne how to know if you’re in love with someone. He thinks it should be sudden like Benophie’s relationship. Daphne replies “Well those two aren’t normal.”

Sometimes I hate having dreams about your favorite show because they are always so far from canon. I had a dream that Simon and Daphne divorced and Simon started courting Penelope??? My subconscious brain clearly doesn’t have respect for the Bridgerton canon like my conscious one does.
