But this much frozen pizza is real, and confusing, but glorious, and I never knew I was going to lose access to it when I moved away.

Man I was so happy to hear him mention Series 7. I saw that back when I worked at a video store in 2002 or 2003. It’s really stuck with me and so when Edgar mentioned the theme I was so hoping he’d include this. Very worth catching if you can find it!

I find it ironic that his renovation of The Old Post Office in DC has been taken over by the Waldorf=Astoria. I was involved in the first transformation, but not the second. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to hear what had to change for the Waldorf folk.

Yeah, that’s a little too trolley problem-esque for me. The principle is that many people need help, and one party has to be forced to help. And they were just given the ok not to.

Hell yeah, The Dig was my jam.

But sometimes you don’t have to work at it to appreciate the movies! I just did my first watch of The 39 Steps (1935) and HOLY MOLY is that entertaining as all get out! Point is, you won’t know if you don’t try, and the person who gave the quoted opinion obviously doesn’t have the energy to try.

You’re taught that in elementary school in Wisconsin.

What actually happens if interest rates are prematurely adjusted way, way down, like the president is demanding? I assume my mortgage rate won’t change much, but what will?

Do the Traeger smoked salmon. It’s pretty fool proof and doesn’t take all day. We’ve been making the salmon burnt ends on the weekend and putting them in all sorts of stuff during the week.

I’ve been rolling this around in my American brain and I think you’re right.

I got a Traeger earlier this year and I’ve been extremely happy basic dad since.

Ohh are you catching Ted Leo tonight??

Oh, you mean the one critical thing that was making inflation not seem so bad? Art of the deal, baby.

She lives just a couple miles away from me. I keep hoping to run into her at Kroger.

“First I was a pain in the arse
Then I was a crab
In a tale as old as time”

Sends me into a giggle fit every time.

Oh mine didn’t! I remembered how Raimi it was halfway through but it was too late and my kid was crying in terror! I apologized and said I didn’t remember it that way and promised there were no more scenes like that (and hoped like hell I was right!)

I became a Spider-Man 3 apologist sometime last year. Even though it doesn’t totally accomplish what it set out to do, it is still clear in the agenda. And I respect what it was trying to say, as mumbled as it was.

All this and I can’t get The Nice Guys 2? The world is cruel.

Such a great movie that I constantly tell people to watch. And a Gene Hackman performance that is criminally overlooked.

I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting more from Sean William Scott.

I’m in the middle of a rewatch of it right now! I’m gonna have to rewind a sec to see if Dean Norris is even recognizable in his scene (“What’s your number?!”)
