In sociology, I was taught that racism is about power dynamics and power structure and the ability to put into action things that discriminate or disenfranchise another group of people, so I was wondering about your reasoning for bullet point 4, Dr. Kaplan-Myrth? Thank you in advance!

As a person studying medicine, people don’t have the option of “letting that beast live rent free in their mind.” It’s literally an issue of having an imbalance of neurotransmitters as in there are actually not enough chemical messengers in the brain. It isn’t just people being sad.
