After asking about what they believe, instead of asking why, I ask how they came to that belief. People often happy to talk about their journey but feel attacked if I ask them to justify their belief.
whenever i am not sure of what someone thinks or i want to clarify that someone thinks something, i ask them a question. “what do you believe about [blank]?” i am genuinely surprised at how few people seem to take that approach on social media.

An opinion I feel should be universal at this point: All indoor public spaces (but especially schools, workplaces, and medical facilities) should be subject to air quality regulations and continuous monitoring and CO2 and particulate concentration numbers should be accessibly displayed.
