Crowley was my Valentine. He watched me enjoy Mimosas using Dobbes’ bubbly, Coelho white Porto, & Blood Orange juice….it was a snow day.

Happy 60 days of knowing each other Crowley-Crowl, fatty man, love bug, purr boy. He has become more cuddly & enjoys watching Jeopardy with me from the barstools. He has also discovered the heated bathroom floor & how to obtain extra treats from the alternate humans when his human says no more.

I had a new Void choose me after letting my senior Void move on (he was ready at 16+ years old). Crowley is 6yrs old & I’m spoiling him rotten. 14lbs of constant purr machine & making his own rules.

My 16 year old best friend told me he was ready to go. I wasn’t ready but I did as he asked. I love & miss you Poo-Kitty.

The assembled pumpkin cheesecakes are in the freezer. So far everyone has loved them & two tasters have asked for my out-of-the-head recipe.

My baking fiends are about to be in trouble…
Pumpkin cheesecakes with a pecan crust (because a new friend requires gluten free) topped with maple-bourbon candied pecans. I’ll let you know what my taste-testers think…

Got a day off of work after tearing my right calf muscle last night. Whoops.
