aw thank you so much! 🥺 i’m happy to talk more from now on
December 26, 2025 at 4:52 AM
me too 😔 love is the most twisted curse after all, his words. i love it when you can feel that
December 26, 2025 at 4:46 AM
it was confirmed that gojo didn’t let shoko treat his body and it seems that his family didn’t get it either until he came back as kenjaku. so it’s pretty heavily implied that gojo just kept his body

thank you! i think replying and in general interacting with ppl would help to build up this place a lot. it feels lonely now but i hope with time that can change.

i think abt that a lot 😭 jjk’s villain-protag duos always have thematic parallel but for jjk0 it’s parallel between the two couples, yutarika vs satosugu. it’s a story about love and loss, yuta and gojo lost/will lose their love and the parallel is in how it affects them and how they deal with it
December 25, 2025 at 2:03 PM
he’d be like rika to yuta i think… still having a lot of love for gojo despite everything. i mean geto doesn’t seem mad in the airport scene, even though gojo did commit a sin with geto’s body imo by accidentally allowing it to be taken by kjk and exploited so horribly.
December 25, 2025 at 1:52 PM
yep, the love as curse theme is especially glaring in gojo’s keeping of geto’s body. it really does feel like a curse that you could love someone so much you commit such a taboo and even dangerous thing (given jjtsu society rules).
i don’t think curse geto’d blame gojo for cursing him either
December 25, 2025 at 1:52 PM
given how little gojo actually expresses his grief (publicly or privately. tbf, i don’t think he’s the type to bawl his eyes out constantly over losing geto) there’s this interesting contrast between his outward attitude and how deep this grief took roots inside of him. it’s actually unsettling.
December 25, 2025 at 1:34 PM
i’m quite attached to that detail even though the fandom (understandably) doesn’t want to delve into it, bcus to me it demonstrates most strongly the absolute enormity of gojo’s feelings for geto… he’d rather keep a corpse around than to let go of him. it’s such a visceral way for grief to manifest

i guess i’m still high from all the fanarts (which is coming even now) that are all brimming with such joy and warmth… just goes to show how truly beautiful the ending gege gave to gojo and geto is. losing each other and reuniting only in death.
December 25, 2025 at 1:22 PM
i quite like how gege injected new meaning into a day the fandom already celebrates. now it’s not only the date when gojo lost geto, but when he regains him as well.

+but since ch236 dropped, the theme switched hard to reunion (esp with a backdrop of snow…), camellias, the airport scene, going south… the general mood is warm, happy, fulfilled, or at worst bittersweet. i think that’s very interesting
