BTC is already obsolete, it will likely be used for a long time as a SoV though as newer tech supplement it via sidechains/L2s. and piggyback off it's massive security as the biggest PoW.

I'd probably calm it with the predictions after making a call this poor - in 1998! When the half the US was already online.

There are still pockets, but even some people who are passionate about such things have had their perspective warped by the hypernormalisation of absolute nonsense being battered into us

AI critics seem to mostly disregard the tech based on fleeting experiences using early models - overlooking that GPQA accuracy has climbed from 28.1% to 70% in just two years.

Place was pretty dead and hostile to crypto until very recently tbf. Decent % of big names on crypto twitter are MAGA too. The open API and absence of manipulation here will win in the end though. Next wave should be a good one.

It is being used in a hedge already in countries with high inflation. And has outperformed inflation even in the US. But still early in it's growth cycle.
