We were represented at Pheno2025 conference (@biometeorology.bsky.social) in 🇧🇷 for the last 5 days. The days were full of exciting presentations and intensive exchange about phenological research. We look forward to deepening the collaborations we made in the future👍🌍.

We just finished the PhenObs Spring Symposium. In six very different presentations, colleagues from all over Europe talked about how botanical gardens can be used for ecological research🌸🧪🐌.
Conclusion: Botanical gardens are a fascinating research platforms👍.

It is time to go "belowground" and starting monitoring of root phenology of herbaceous plant🌻. Thanks to funding by the @idiv-research.bsky.social we could set-up a study site with minirhizotrons at the botanical garden of Jena👍🏼.
