Abiotic Factor, since its 1.0 release I beat the game once on my own, once with some friends and now I'm currently going towards the end of a third playthrough with one of my best IRL friends who's been really digging it. And I'm definetly excited for it's DLC next summer as well.

Insane to think it's been almost 10 years already and how far the game has come, despite its highest highest and lowest lows but in the end it's been on a steady uptick again after the shit show of the last year and recent months.

It's one of the biggest problems the modern upgrade insanity in bigger games has brought. Just upping the damage is too simple so now we gotta have "Deal 20% more damage on a tuesday but only if it's a full moon" cause they gotta bloat the pool of upgrades so it takes you longer to get useful ones.

It's usually not the first one, there's a second one later on that's more annoying as it summons worse ads, destroys the floor and can go off screen and then dash at you. All that combined is a bit much for some, took me a few tries and swapping tools around as well to finally get it properly.
