Trump is stone mad.

His latest outburst on Truth Social, he's complaining about Europe buying Russian oil, and he gave Orban an exemption from sanctions - to buy Russian oil!

Government response when it reaches 10,000 signatures, considered for debate in parliament at 100,000.

That's your lot.

Signed & shared anyway, in the hope it might do something.

Does this include support for Ukraine that is being procured from the US by European governments? If so, the US is not only turning its back on Ukraine, but Europe too.

It's time to look at our reliance on the US military and the countless billions paid in dowries to US armament manufacturers.

This plan is utterly outrageous.

Europe needs to realise that it isn't weak. 500 million Europeans rely upon 300 million Americans to protect them from 140 million Russians. The US have proven itself to be an unreliable ally, it's time for Europeans to act in their own interests.

While we are at it, let's have the investigation into Russian election interference too.

I feel so sorry for the Ukrainian people. Zelensky sounds like a man crushed by the knowledge that this is the end. The US are turning their back on Ukraine.

It's shameful. Rewarding the aggressor will not end this.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

What a scandalous waste of public money.

I hope my Reform voting neighbours are pleased with them.

I don't know, but we still have the potholes.

Trample all over the press, expect them to document it from the floor.

He wasn't my choice, I can assure you of that.

...but it's not about skin colour, he says.

What an odious little man he is. It is my misfortune to have him as my MP.

"...do you think they would want to put that out there?"

We're back to the same argument Farage uses - Can you prove it's not happening? Always the same answer when they are challenged.

Why aren't these people cut down by interviewers when they come out with this unsubstantiated tripe?

Indeed it is, and it all started out so well...

I just can't be bothered. The only ones I'll block are the abusive ones, I'm usually interested in understanding what makes people hold the views they do. If they want to run off with their toys, they can get on with it.

They can please themselves.

If they're so confident in their position that they have to block any dissent, let them go live in their echo chamber.

Hmm, Tamara in Portugal doesn't seem keen on any contrary opinions - I'm blocked 🤭

Which is ironic, if you look as some previous posts...

It's nothing to do with the Starmerite cult.

I've been around long enough to see how GEs pan out, and how short the average voter's memory is.

I agree. There's not a great deal to be gained by taking on Reform now, using up powder that would be best preserved for closer to the election.

In the meantime, I suspect they're hoping that Reform will hang themselves if given enough rope.
