In 2014 when in 🇦🇫 the Taliban were fire bombing voting centres & cutting off citizens fingers marked in blue showing they voted. First time in my life that I’m excited to find a long line when I arrive to do something. Here for advance voting and there is a line out and around the building. Hoping this is an example of the interest of 🇨🇦ians to engage in this critical act (& responsibility) of citizenship.

When you have to say it..

There are multiple ways 🇨🇦 can demonstrate we are part of the currently-forming ‘coalition of the willing’. I personally see welcoming asylum seekers as one of our 💪🏼 rather than weakness
