Just some random guy with lots of thoughts on many topics. I don’t really fit into any ideological position.
Food price won’t be lower but grocery bills will be when crops spoil in the fields and there is nothing to buy.

It wasn’t guaranteed until 2019. However, every shutdown congress eventual passed a bill giving back wages. I speculate that 2019 law might not be enforced under Trump.

Unfortunately, Republicans have not been held accountable for these stupid stunts in the past. I’m not sure this will be any different.

Federal employees usually get back pay when they lose wages due to the shutdown. Somehow I think Musk will weigh in on that practice.

Your response is devoid of any meaningful argument. If you want to learn a lesson about WWII learn about US internment of legal America citizens that were Japanese, and the lack of internment of German and Italians.

Invasion is hyperbolic. US needs undocumented workers. Unfortunately politicians have tricked people like you to fear them to scare you into voting for the. Someone needs to do the dirty the work of developed nations. We just don’t have a good guest worker program like most developed countries.

I’m not sure how to describe my feelings on this. My oldest just graduated college and got her adult job. She’s happy with the pay, but when she looked at their health insurance. She decided to stay on ours. Realized if she had kids the healthcare by her company is wholly inadequate.
December 14, 2024 at 8:31 PM
If they are kids in the future. My kids are saying they won’t bring kids into this world of idiocracy.
December 14, 2024 at 2:41 AM
This is clearly hyperbole and doesn’t warrant this level of response. Insurance companies are trying to intimidate us by making an example out of her. There is a sense of anger about their profits and refusal to honor their policies. Frustrated and venting is all she did.

This is a complete overreaction by law enforcement. Blue Cross is pushing these charges of planning a mass shooting. At most a red flag protective order might make sense. Florida currently had one on the books but republicans are trying to repeal it.

Trump wasn’t elected to whine about Biden. He’s expected to do the job. It seems he’s trying to get Trudeau and Sheinbaum to secure the border instead of doing it himself. He tried that with the wall last time and failed miserably. Instead of blaming Biden you should be promoting Trump’s plan.

There is nothing moral about one who claims murder as a virtue. Then merely watches and cheers when others act. You remain hidden on the internet whining about tour woes. Your path represent the cowards way to inferiority.
December 13, 2024 at 3:21 AM
Tough talk but you won’t do anything but whine. They are better than you. Yet they still remain some of the most loathsome people on the planet.
December 13, 2024 at 2:59 AM
No love for CEOs but you are a tragedy that continually repeats the same failures. Turns out the CEO is a better person than you. That is truly sad that you haven’t evolved yourself to the humanity level of Brian Thompson or any CEO.
December 13, 2024 at 2:51 AM
Look more whining. I guess if you whine enough we still won’t care. Maybe throw in some crying. If that doesn’t try hard work if you are not too lazy.
December 13, 2024 at 2:31 AM
My world is real you live in the whiney land of I need everything handed to me. Hard work is a fantasy. Since you claim you’re struggling it’s logical to conclude your methods have failed.
December 13, 2024 at 1:55 AM
I think it will be more like a skirmish. Tariffs will cause prices to go up in America very quickly. Trump is not a very brave man and will quickly backdown. I think he’s bluffing Mexico called his bluff on the wall and won. The rest of the world will do the same. He’s a laughing stock to them.
December 13, 2024 at 1:51 AM
Once again you do not show the maturity to bring people together. Yes I made my life comfortable. Instead of being jealous of me realize that I’m in full support of single payer government healthcare. You seem to approach the world with bitterness. Success is an attitude. Let go the bitterness.
December 13, 2024 at 1:45 AM
Maybe we should protect our own borders and stop blaming everyone else. Tariffs are like cutting your own finger off and bleed all over someone’s carpet to teach them a lesson. Tariffs won’t work. Trumps also bluffing and won’t impose the tariffs. Mexico called his bluff on the wall and won.

Where is this so called real world of yours? I’ve made sound decisions and found myself with a comfortable life. I see the same quality in my children. I’m in the real world. I would very much like you to join the world of good decisions good results.

By resigning he also forced a confirmation hearing had Trump fired him he could have bypassed the senate and appointed Patel without a hearing.
December 13, 2024 at 1:20 AM
No surprise here. Trump is a lame duck president from day one He could promise anything to anyone and not face voters again. His campaign was always about keeping himself out of jail and revenge.
