I've read this book as an ebook, but today, i finally bought a paper copy. I grew up in a city centered on the car factory. Both of my parents worked at the factory, and we went from comfortably middle class to having to worry about missing meals when it closed, that is why this book hits hard 📚💙

I've started reading this yesterday, and I am hooked. I don't really read fiction often, but this book has been reaserched amazingly, and I have loved reading Harris ever since I read The Fatherland when I was a teen. He has a great style.

I finished reading this a few days ago. Not only does it have great descriptions of battles in the African theater of WW2, but it also has an amazing and detailed account of political maneuvering by Churchill that made the victory in that theater possible. Highly recommend.📚💙
