The BFI's list of the top 100 films includes only six comedies and Playtime is the highest at #23. Indicates both that it deserves to be higher on the Variety list but, perhaps even more, there needs to be more respect for comedies generally. (While conceding that, yes, rankings are stupid.)

I actually assigned the same video for my course on the aesthetics and ethics of video games. This upcoming Monday, it's paired with on Ian Bogost's chapter on "Political Processes" in Persuasive Games.
