So, in Carmarthen in 1861 railway engines were like horses and needed a stable...
From the minute book of the Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway. I've heard of stabling rolling stock but I don't think I've seen it used like this. Was it common mid 19th century?

Got to love the American PI novel and what people did with it. Dave Brandstetter was gay, his lover Cecil was black and this was in 1984. Boundaries were being pushed. Matt Scudder is a long term favourite although Block's Hitman books perhaps have an edge (but not about a PI)

Latest completion. Airfix Bf110C. Didn't do anything about the flaps going across the back of the engine nascelles but did add Eduard aileron mass balances, cos it just looked wrong without them. Quite pleased and I do like a bit of sandgelb 🏝
