Still leading the way! At 78, my dad continues to inspire everyone around him, showing that passion, purpose, and perseverance never retire. He just received an award recognizing his ongoing impact in pharmacy and education. Truly a lifetime of excellence and dedication.

Just got the results of the renal oral exam and somehow snatched a 73.33 from the jaws of defeat. Really did not think that I’d passed that one. Now, going into the final, I have a strong shot at a solid B to end the unit. #happydance #renal #medicalschoollife

If I hear “MAP = CO × SVR” one more time, I might flatline from emotional preload. My brain has officially hit maximum afterload, my venous return is nonexistent, and my coronary arteries are begging for a vacation. At this point, my only cardiac output is tears and caffeine.

Final exam next week. Currently in a committed relationship with 60–100 MCQs a day and seeing First Aid for the USMLE on the side.
Sleep? Optional.
Caffeine? Mandatory.
Hoping the exam goes better than my adrenal glands are currently functioning. 🧠📚💀

When you’ve memorized every heart sound, vessel, reflex arc, and drug interaction… and your own heart skips a beat every time someone says “baroreceptor.” 😩
