Political junkie, in recovery now. I've been fighting for women's rights since the 60's and I'm damn tired, but I'll continue to give it all I've got. I also travel a lot
Can someone smarter than me tell me what the af this might mean??

From invaluable @calmatters.org, funding update for Calif Prop 50. "Support" lets CA gerrymander to offset TX

-"Support" has 100x more "small-dollar" money
-Nearly all "oppose" money comes from one person: Charles Munger Jr, like DJT a princeling heir

Vote YES

This is pretty funny considering that Utah has the most porn subscriptions per broadband user
This is a key goal of Project 2025.

As Lithgow said: you may have heard these, but you need to hear them again. We all do.
You have to see this.

PoliticsGirl and her husband teamed up with the brilliant Timothy Snyder (author of On Tyranny) and the legendary John Lithgow to create something truly powerful. It’s important, it’s urgent—and it needs to be shared far and wide.

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

If multiple women sit separately in a food court, each quietly eating a salad, do not interrupt us. We are silently communicating through salads, like whale song.

I have a lot of travel planned for 2025. This is a good reminder to stay vigilant.
I’d recommend everyone regardless of medical risk bring a mask on your airplane journey, a disinfectant wipe to clean the seat you’re in and hand sanitizer.

It’s going to be on you alone to protect your health.

Warning signs are everywhere.

There's so much to love at Costco
Costco responded to shareholders requesting that it withdraw from DEI policies. The response was direct and to the point: Costco says, "Our board has considered this proposal and believes that our commitment to an enterprise rooted in respect & inclusion is appropriate & necessary."

Good question…
If a church doesn’t have a food pantry or a soup kitchen or a closet full of clothes and blankets open to the public or isn’t showing up at natural disasters to help, why does that church have a tax-exempt status?

The Musk-Johnson government shutdown bill has been soundly defeated.

MAGA extremists in the House GOP are not serious about helping working class Americans.

They are simply doing the bidding of their wealthy donors and puppeteers.

Unacceptable.

Swisher: "Several people familiar with the Post's search were baffled by the apparent absence of editorial vision or business strategy" No one wants Ben Bradlee's old job.
This is entirely because the current management selected by Jeff Bezos is inept and cloddish and, let’s be honest, whose has a limp entrepreneurial record. And Bezos has other competing interests rendering him no longer the owner he once was www.axios.com/2024/12/17/w...
Scoop: Washington Post's top editor prospects flee after hearing its business strategy
