I think I have a laptop with a 1660ti with caveat being the screen is cracked but can be used in clamshell mode. I‘ll check to see what else I have.

I’m a hoarder of tech, what do you need the laptop to do? I might something that will suffice.

Reading back my own question I realized that's a hard thing to answer, vibes are very much a personal thing. But, I'll try by listing my favorite sets. Onslaught, Odyssey, Urzas, Ravnica & Lorwyn. I don't if there is a thru line with those sets, but MTG was fun for me with them.

So is there another TCG that has the same vibe as 90's/00's MTG? I've tried yugioh (a very long time ago) and it wasn't really for me.

I know this is a very selfish and potentially Gatekeeping sentiment. But I really hate seeing all my favorite nerdy and niche hobbies dragged into the mainstream and become completely overexposed husks. Soley existing for profit.

I checked out of MTG years ago. All these new set sets releasing every two weeks have extinguished any desire I have to revisit.

I was so damn excited when I heard the theme music too. Maybe modders will be able to do something with it. It is essentially the same game with a newer engine grafted on.
