Heck yeah! Thaumaturge is a shockingly powerful class if you pick the right items, and even the weak ones are very flavorful. Depending on your DM, any choice can work!

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only fan of old-school Disney that also REALLY thinks Treasure Planet and Atlantis: The Lost Empire were criminally underrated. Treasure Planet ESPECIALLY holds up and has so many cool ideas for sci-fi that I haven't seen used since.

Oooo, you're going to Japan? Have fun! There's lots of good food there, from the ramen to the kombini food and even the mcdonald's and domino's is very different. Feel free to DM if you'd like other tips, as we've been to Japan several times.

Foxes know this would do a world of good for humans. It's really hard to chill out and accept others if you're always hyperfocused on "MUH PRODUCTIVITY!!!"
