Btw UK’s Tredz just discounted Edge 1050 by £50. Very unexpected for a new model and so close to Christmas.

You did well. First rule of 3D printing is to print the accessories for your 3D printer. And there’s a LOT of accessories you’ll need ;)

Sadly that’s something we will have to get used to, unless a real big fine crackdown happens. ‘Fake it till you make it’ culture is endemic in tech and more and more customers are unpaid beta testers. What’s worse, the iterative engineering is very much cool these days. Customer is always last.

Apple Silicon is another level. Never stops amazing me I have the M2 Max MBP running 24/7 in the dock (@~25W) and basically use it as a server (Docker + Ollama) when not on the road without any perceived effect on the performance when working on it. Only time the fans come up is during heavy GPU use
