Unrelated to movies or books but I'm at a golf tournament with my work today and I fucking hate golf 😒 In addition to my moral objections of using up a disproportionate amount of natural resources and being horrible for the environment it is so incredibly boring 🫩

I Know What You Did Last Summer is outrageously stupid but I had a lot of fun laughing at it, I kind of recommend if you're into so bad it's good movies. It pays to brush up on the first two before seeing it and make sure you stay for the post credits scene!

Does anyone else have that random kitchen utensil you keep meaning to buy, but it's never enough of a nuisance to actually make the purchase? Mine is a pasta spoon.

I went to see Megan 2.0 this weekend, I heard it wasn't great and it wasn't. Spoilers below

I wasn't expecting this to be so moving and heartfelt? Now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to read it!

Just got out of 2001: A Space Odyssey in theaters for the first time, it was an incredible experience! Such a beautiful, thought provoking masterpiece!

There is a reason this is considered a classic, The Picture of Dorian Gray is beautifully written, with compelling characters and an engrossing plot. Highly recommend if you have not read it already!

Happy Pride Month everyone! 🏳️‍🌈

Love the retro poster for the new Fear Street! I grew up with the Goosebumps and Fear Street books and I'm a big fan of the Trilogy so I've been looking forward to this for a while! Anyone else watching this weekend?

I have bought second copies of books because I wanted a lending copy or because the cover was nicer, but yesterday was the first time I bought a second copy because the font was easier to read 🫤 Might be time for new glasses 🤓

Just saw Clown in a Cornfield, both the book and the movie are super fun! It was funny, creepy and Frendo looks great on the big screen! 🤡🌽🔪

Cher's memoir is a fascinating and engaging look at her life from childhood to the beginning of her film career. I enjoyed learning more about her life and I look forward to part 2!

Just finished The Beast You Are by Paul Tremblay and I loved this collection! The novella at the end was very unique and beautifully written. I would recommend reading A Head Full of Ghosts before picking this up since there are several connected stories.

The next few weeks are going to be stressful for me at work, so while I would like to read The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, I'm going to save it until I can give it the attention it deserves. I am reading The Beast You Are by Paul Tremblay, as short stories are easier to focus on. Really good so far!!

It is release day for The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones!! I'll be picking up my copy this afternoon. This is my most anticipated new release this year, SGJ has quickly become one of my favourite authors and I have seen some reviews saying this is his best book yet! 🧛

I love thrifting old books and I'm always on the lookout for vintage King. I found The Dead Zone today, it isn't a true first edition (it's the book club version) but I love the original cover art! Now to get the price sticker off without ripping the dust jacket 😅

I found out that some editions of Misery include this fake cover for Misery's Return! 🤣 My dream is to find one in the wild, but I'm not sure how rare they are. I think this version is from Signet and the printing is from the 80s.

The Swarm reads a bit like one of the stranger X-Files episodes. The premise and characters are a lot of fun, even if the plot is a bit overstuffed 🪰

Picking up my preorder of the paperback for The Angel of Indian Lake today!! (I had to wait for the paperback so it would match my copies of the first two😅) One of my goals for this year was not to DNF books so I'm going to finish the book I'm working on before reading the Trilogy!
