Aside from that earlier rant, I made this as an extra-late Halloween thing. Vivian's Soulmother form, along with a tweak to my art style that I experimented with. Didn't quite work out this time, but I'll definitely be trying it again in the future.
Vivian Velasquez, in her Soulmother form. Her hair retains its light lavender color but now hangs loose. Her eyes are a bright yellow, with black sclera, and her pointed ears are now more feline, accompanied by a long tail that wraps around her waist. She possesses a "vest" and "skirt" of feathers, with her hands and feet being more crow-like to her forearms and calves. She also wears gloves and sandals similar to her default appearance, but they are now more clawed in appearance, with extra bronze covering her fingers and toes. Phantom Amethysts adorn her tail and ears, along with a chest piece bearing a different shape from the other pieces.

8/8 is upon us -- and that means an insatiable appetite for most. Vivian's no exception; she is known to be a soul sucker herself, but she has moments where she gets a bit carried away!

Some of those souls definitely ended up going to her ass and thighs, but her chest is still lacking...
One soul is held over Vivian's waiting maw, going into a full-blown panic. Several other souls fly away from the scene as one looks back at the victim with dread on its face. Meanwhile, Vivian herself contently helps herself to her meal, the effects of her voraciousness highlighted by her engorged, squirming stomach full of captive souls, and her wide, enlarged lower half. A counter in the top-right displays how many souls she has already consumed, implying that some may have contributed to her increased weight as they've already been digested.

I wanna practice more backgrounds... They can be just as fun as drawing characters sometimes. I think this was probably when I was really hitting my stride in my earlier days. I wanna get back to this level with my art, personally.
