Large White Pelican at the San Diego Zoo Safari park, perched on a log surrounded by a pond. California Scrub-Jay at Lake Calavera. Perched on a branch looking looking wistfully off to the left. It’s medium sized bird that is the toned down cousin to the always resplendent Blue Jay. American Crow perched midway up a palm tree. The crow’s silhouette is so dark it almost appears that there is a black void in the photo and not just a Corvid taking in the view.
