As others have stated, AI and data centers having their energy costs subsidized by local Americans is also killing their ability to keep up with rising costs. This needs to be addressed. We should not be subsidizing these things.

UHG is raking in billions, hand over fist, while also defrauding the gov, and has the audacity to complain about high costs?

This should be the death of Jubilee. Who brings a bunch of fascists in to debate? They can't debate. They're quite literally anti-intellectual. Medhi should have walked out and no Dem or leftist should engage with this shit anymore. These people are fundamentally insane.

Why are you using Islamaphobia against a progressive mayoral candidate? Why haven't you formally apologized? Why should anyone on the left take you seriously about anything when you've shown you'll backtrack on it to attack progressives?

Resign. You're a disgrace to the party.

John is embarrassingly shortsighted. Or he's a Vichy.

By giving him the budget to continue his bullshit without nailing Republicans down on their acquiescence to him consolidating power, you've plunged American families into chaos.

You fucked up and it's yours to own.
March 15, 2025 at 5:11 PM
So you won't hold Republicans accountable for allowing Trump to walk all over the Constitution, and you'll allow them to fund his constant trampling. Great job, John.
March 12, 2025 at 8:46 PM
No. Stop hobbling free speech under the guise of "won't someone think of the children." You know damn well how repealing 230 will be abused, and if you don't, you shouldn't be a Senator.

No, Republicans would rather let Elon take the blame than take it themselves. They don't care about saving it, they just don't want the voters to know that.

I work in a public research neuroscience lab, and my boss is hopeful that we won't see our funding cut, but with Neuralink being a thing I'm skeptical we won't see the ax, too.

If you meet residency reqs and you're paying taxes, I see no issue in voting in local elections. Maybe state elections.

Also, it's legal. There is no federal law against it. We used to allow it at the federal level, too, iirc.
February 11, 2025 at 11:20 PM
It used to be legal. Non-citizens used to be allowed to vote in elections if they met residency reqs, and there is no federal law that says they can't vote in state or local elections.

These elections are local. They live there, they pay taxes, so they should be allowed to participate 🤷‍♂️

Clearly, *the* Jeffrey Epstein is still alive and well, and collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars from the federal government to maintain his silence. That's the only logical explanation!
