Racing in Ahoy Rotterdam for six days, with such an amazing crowd and a great atmosphere was really special.
I enjoyed every second of representing Rotterdam Fund Racers at the Zesdaagse and I am thankful for the opportunity to race where the love for track cycling started for me. 💚

Last weekend I got an email with the question if I would be available to replace someone and ride the Zesdaagse Rotterdam. I changed all my plans for the week and even though I was pretty nervous, because it had been five years since I had raced at this level, I took the opportunity.

I started track cycling as soon as I grew tall enough to ride the smallest track bike available.

I have been out of (track) racing for a few years, but I missed it and decided to get back into it this year.
