and also, doing SOME masking is fine, hell, even i do it too (although never for the crowd but to make MYSELF feel better by it) BUT, if someone actually tries hard to conform to some norms then this is what you dont call authentic no more. its conformism but not necesserally masking.

+ if the person is already masking TOO MUCH, then, no matter how much yall tryna talk, it will barely even unfold if the other person is like that already. you cannot control how someone expresses themselves but you can choose to put up with them OR you can choose another one whos just right for ya.
