I read this book recently. Guiteau was such a nutter. He constantly visited the White House, State Department, etc., and would wait hours to talk to Garfield about a government position. He did that for months. No one dealt with him. He believed God told him to kill Garfield. 🙄

I wasn't sure if they were the same. Thanks for clearing that up. I had my wedding photographer take a picture of me with these two Rusyn women. They were so nice. I need to read my father-in-law's book, which I inherited. He was so excited to get this book.

I got my library audiobook today! Longtime Tess fan. I'm looking forward to the new book. Kimberly Farr is a great narrator, who I recently heard in the Olive Kittridge books, plus Anne Tyler's Blue Thread book.

"Trust" by Hernandez Diaz

Great novel. The story structure is effective and it moves quickly. The four #audiobook narrators are excellent. Highly recommended. #books #BookSky

#Ancestry #DNA Clusters arrived in my family tree yesterday. My mom had 17 clusters, my dad three, & I have six clusters. My dad's were all identified matches attached to his tree. My mom's is an opportunity to work through her massive number of matches. Appalachian pedigree collapse. #genealogy

Listening to @lizstrout.bsky.social "Tell Me Everything." I read "Olive Kittridge" & "Olive, Again" previously but recently read & loved "The Burgess Boys." I was going to try to read the Lucy Barton books before this one, but really wanted to read more about Bob Burgess. #books #booksky #Libby

Wow! Thank you for posting this. I didn't know this even existed. Bio Russian great-grandparents lived in my hometown but they never applied for nat. & all birthplaces in Ukraine are "unknown" on death records. I couldn't find immigration recs because the father changed names. Found the grandmother!

Checking some newly added #newspapers today. I have 6-7 people in my #FamilyTree, who have been struck by lightning; two are #DNA verified relations. It's a large tree, but is still strange. #genealogy #Ancestry
