The phrase 'one born every minute' needs bringing up to date in line with inflation.

Casting about aimlessly for stuff to do but coming up empty. You know how it is.

It does look to be! The previous owner of mine put stars on the hopper to describe where the burrs meet at the finer end. I'm sceptical but haven't needed to go that fine anyway.

You normally don't expend the energy stating that which goes unsaid about you. U ok hun?

And for something with only three buttons! Coffee Guff was my lockdown 'thing'. Apart from our firstborn arriving mid April 2020, of course 🤯

I'm also surprised no one has commented on me blowing a seal... #farmcraft101

These are the most popular mods for Gaggias - pressure and temp regulation for repeatable shots and lots more.

I'm definitely not an aficionados either. It was the unexpected sweet and sour combo of coffee done right that got me hooked!

I'm going to drop it into conversation here, too. That or get a hot-rodded Gaggia like the artist formerly known as SlickAttire. Been in love with his little machine for years now.

Scales and brew timer combo.

The 9Barista is one of those things that feels unreal/unobtanium cos it's so cool.

Do you have a milk foamer too?

Oh lol - that's brilliant! I didn't pay more than 70 either 🤌

I got a Wilfa Svart grinder second hand off the internet about 4 years ago and it's still doing a proper job. I don't need anything more snobby than that and freshly-ground beans are more than worth the investment.

Crikey, how many seals have you got to hand?!
November 15, 2025 at 2:39 PM
😄 yeah I'm only being half serious with my suv comparison since I've got a midrange burr grinder and Moccamaster stood next to each other on the counter.

In motoring terms, it's probably like having a two-stroke crosser in the garage next to the fuel/oil missing station. Then scream off at speed.

That looks very sleek. It was a commercial Bravilor that brewed the coffee at work which turned me on to proper coffee. Whatever Big Del did with that machine really worked!

Sadly, as you know with the Moccamaster's reliability, I'm well out of your target market for that deal 😄

Jura know what they're doing. I went through cafetiere, mokka, then V60 for a couple of years, until getting a Moccamaster for my 40th which went into daily service for 3 whole years.

So you can see I'm only half serious!

And to confirm I'll drink tea if a host only has instant coffee.
