Pretty much, yes. I'm about to engage in a usability study to evaluate the effectiveness of the visual enhancements we think will be beneficial. There will be options for the wearer to customise the strength of enhancement and we'll get feedback on each one to inform future improvements.

Slightly different, but my research is looking into manipulating visual input via a mixed reality headset for people with low vision. I'm specifically interested in visual art. It is my hope to bypass translating art into some other format (tactile, audio) just to turn it back into a mental image.
