For me, I’ve struggled with setting description and grounding every sentence in my MC’s POV. I’m thinking taking a slightly more distant approach will be better for my writing style. 🤞

I love this insight into your process!! Lately I’ve been trying to write 500 words between 5 and 6 am before I get ready to go teach high school all day! It’s been working so far. 🤞 At nearly 60K of my 80K first draft goal. I always feel SO much better about my day when I hit 500, so I feel you!

I do the same!! Then the text says “edited” like some kind of brand of shame.
