Many shows you see playing at the Cultural Trust or other places, originally started at a fringe. Support artists in their creative journey through fringes by seeing their shows. You could be seeing the next Six, or Stomp before everyone else!

This list represents shows that audiences picked by "bums in seats," and only after that did curators notice the audiences' excitement and book for tours, other festivals, or venues.

That is sometimes the only avenue for new shows with new "edgy" or controversial styles to get in front of an audience at all.

Fringe's are crucial to the ecosystem and helpful in giving a platform to new work. Especially new work that may not have other avenues. In our model, the audience picks the shows, not the curator. The artists decide what they want to bring to the audience, without the middleman.

This month, the wild, weird and wonderful of the Steel City’s arts community will descend on the streets of Garfield, Bloomfield and Friendship for the annual Pittsburgh Fringe Festival. This nine-day performing arts festival is returning for fully in-person performances.

More recent endeavors include the national tour of Rock of Ages, a European tour with the innovative and world-renowned Pilobulus Dance Theater Company, and a founding member and Assistant Director and Choreographer of the successful Orlando based troupe, VarieTease.
