Is the Tattered Cover still open in Denver? I loved that place when I lived near Washington Park back in the mid 90’s. Haven’t been back in a decade or so.

Parnassus Books in Nashville is lovely, but that’s what one would expect from Ann Patchett.

I agree with the sentiment. Years ago, I rented a house to a young man who was the deep snapper for UofMemphis (& Stephen Gostkowski). I’m not sure what was required by his coaches, but he practiced and worked crazy hours, considering the limited time he played on the field.

Don’t let them give you tussin pearls for the cough. They are useless

I waited two weeks to go to the doctor. Youngest son who was home for holidays tested positive for flu, but they only tested me for strep (-). I’ve had a round of antibiotics that seemed to help the head congestion and a prescription of Chlor Hist for the cough. The cough hangs on still…

Not to be the wet blanket here, but I’ve had a cough and congestion since December 27th. Good luck!

Wish I could’ve been there.

Well, nothing like short notice! I don’t have a ton of TV time. Ugh! 😉

It’s a beautiful show. I’m sad it was canceled. I wish another network would scoop it up. I’d pay for another subscription to support it.

This camera angle makes this piece of sausage look like its the size of an overstuffed burrito! It’s giving me meat sweats just looking at it. 😂

I recommend finding a secluded spot with your book. Then, set a timer and read uninterrupted for 15-25 minutes every day. Put your phone in “do not disturb” while you read. I do this all the time and get lost in whatever story and read beyond.
